We pour seat walls at sitting height with a cap wide enough to actually sit on, tied into the patio so the whole thing reads as one piece of work rather than an add-on.
Finishes match the patio: stamped and colored to the same pattern, a smooth troweled cap, or exposed aggregate. Fire-pit surrounds, grill-station bases, and planter borders are the same build.
